With Arineo.Essentials, Arineo’s Power BI best-practices package for data analysis and visualization in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, ROVEMA established an excellent foundation for further developing its customized reports. During the implementation, the Arineo team also connected additional functionality from the D365 FO to Power BI, including the production, project, and quotation modules. The company now uses Power BI to analyze its project requirements, financial KPIs, project resources, incoming orders and quotations, life cycle services, and quality management, among other things. The instance is continuously expanded and adapted to meet the new reporting needs of the business units.
Arineo’s business intelligence experts trained ROVEMA’s IT team in creating Power BI reports and shared their best tips and tricks on the subject. The train-the-trainer approach aimed to enable the internal IT team to train other key users within the company and to implement new business unit reporting requirements primarily on their own.
