Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce is the all-in-one, cloud-based, commerce platform for retail companies with multi-channel sales. It replaced the previous Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail in 2022. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, unique customer experiences can be created across all sales channels, from online to physical stores, while at the same time taking full advantage of the benefits of digitization for complex chain stores processes.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, like its predecessor Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail, includes extensive point of sale (POS) functionality, including cash register processing and store merchandise management. In addition, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce has been enhanced with a modern, convenient content management system (CMS) that enables the creation and operation of online stores for B2B as well as B2C business. The unified commerce platform makes it possible to replace classic stand-alone solutions for the different requirements of branch stores and online retailing with an all-in-one solution.
