The highlights at a glance

Finance

  • Organization administration – Establishment and Registration ID governance on invoices
This feature provides better control of invoice data in Dynamics 365 Finance. Business units and registration IDs can be applied to, verified, and stored immutably on invoices. This supports compliance, traceability, reporting, and e-invoicing.

  • Tax – Automate tax feature creation based on tax master data
This feature uses existing sales tax master data to create the setup for tax calculations automatically. Existing tax codes and tax groups are reused, reducing manual configuration effort and easing the transition to Tax Calculation.

  • Budgeting – Inquiry of purchase orders processed during purchase order year-end
This new inquiry displays which purchase orders were processed in the purchase order year-end process. This allows you to easily check transferred orders, booking data, and document status. It creates greater transparency in year-end closing and reduces manual follow-up effort.

Supply Chain Management

  • Procurement and sourcing – Procurement Agent – Impact analysis
The Procurement Agent shows what impact changes in orders may have on contracts, stock levels, production plans, and customer deliveries. This helps procurement teams better assess how to respond to changes.

  • Inventory and warehouse management – Quality quick results entry enhancements
Quick result entry in quality inspection now displays additional information such as test descriptions and test plan notes directly within the workflow. This ensures relevant inspection data is available where results are recorded.

  • Warehouse management – Optimized 3D packing containerization algorithm
The optimized 3D packaging algorithm more precisely accounts for the length, width, and height of items and packaging. This allows the system to calculate how items actually fit into a shipping container, improving utilization and potentially reducing packaging materials and transportation costs.
