His place in the team: the Data Intelligence base group
Franz is part of our Data Intelligence base group, as his expertise in data science/AI, business intelligence, and training is a perfect fit. “This team includes many of the colleagues I work with every day. We support each other and share our knowledge to grow together,” he reports. But his work goes far beyond that – he often works together with developers from other areas in customer projects.
Finding projects – or being found
“When a new customer project starts, our specialist department coordinates availability,” explains Franz. He indicates when he is free and where he can contribute. However, direct communication with colleagues often helps him quickly find the right role in the project. “I am often approached directly when my support is needed. That makes collaboration very flexible.”
Training and further education: his second pillar
In addition to his work in development and consulting, Franz conducts training courses – both internally for colleagues and externally for clients. In smaller training projects, he often wears multiple hats: consultant, trainer, technical project manager, and client contact.
"That makes the job exciting because I take on a lot of responsibility and ensure successful training."
He takes the initiative to organize internal training courses. “I reached out to the Arineo Academy learning coordinators. Since then, I have been called in whenever training in data intelligence is needed.” Together with his colleagues, he has even developed training programs for apprentices.
Strategic involvement in portfolio development
Franz is interested in strategy development and participates in the Data & Artificial Intelligence business circle. This group decides which technologies and skills we should offer now and in the future and how we can build them up if necessary. Franz represents training within data analytics: “I am committed to strategically expanding our expertise.”
Personal growth – self-directed and flexible
Franz actively shapes his own development: “I wanted to improve my business intelligence skills. I signed up for a BI project through our resource planning – and soon, I was working on my first BI assignment.” Alongside major development steps, he also makes time for smaller training courses, such as feedback techniques or emerging technologies.
Conclusions: working with responsibility
“The cooperative organization gives me the freedom to apply my strengths where they are needed,” says Franz, adding: “At Arineo, taking responsibility for our success isn’t an exception – it’s the norm.”
