What are you studying, and why did you choose this particular field?
Lynn: I am studying business informatics at the University of Göttingen. I chose this degree program because I wanted to study something related to business, but not pure business administration. This way, I found a good mix of business and computer science, which also covers my technical interests. I’m currently in the final stages of my studies and am excited to see what the future holds for me.
What are your tasks at Arineo IT?
Lynn: My primary responsibility is at the service desk, where I provide first-level support, which includes tasks such as solving technical problems or processing orders. I also support onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as the replacement of our leased notebooks. I am also currently familiarizing myself with Jira Service Management. The goal is to use this tool to automate internal service processes, enhancing teamwork and efficiency.
Which topics are the most enjoyable for you right now?
Lynn: I’m currently enjoying the Jira project the most, as I can learn new processes and contribute my own ideas, which helps me learn a lot. The close cooperation and helpfulness of my colleagues make work particularly enjoyable.
What motivates you in your work?
Lynn: Right now, I’m very motivated by learning a lot of new things, diving even deeper into the professional world, and becoming more confident in my work. This also helps me to become more organized. I’m also making steady progress and discovering more and more which tasks suit me and which topics I would like to explore further.
It’s great that Arineo supports me on this path and allows me to pursue and deepen my own interests. Personal development is highly valued, and I have the opportunity to explore many new perspectives and topics.
